Kindergarten and Beyond! (3 to 5 years)

This hands-on, six week program, is designed for Parents/Caregivers and their children to learn important early literacy skills that will help children to succeed in school. Parents/Caregivers will learn fun activities they can do at home with their child to continue the early literacy learning.
Parent/Caregiver participation is required. Children must be between the ages of 3 and 5 upon registering.
Siblings are not allowed to attend. Registration is required.

At the Central Library:
Session One: Mondays at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. January 23rd to March 5th (Closed Family Day Monday, February 20, 2012)
Registration begins Friday, January 6th at 9:30 a.m.

Think you got the moves? Show off your best dance skills as
we hook up Just Dance 3 for the Xbox360/Kinect. Enjoy snacks as you boogie to classic dance songs as well as some of the most recent chart toppers. Even if you’ve never played come out and have fun.

Fun with Floorcloths Craft Program

What is a floorcloth? A floorcloth is a thin canvas rug or other similar floorcovering. How do you make one? Join Susan Kalzer as she walks you through how to create a floorcloth of your very own. Registration is required.

It has been said that no two snowflakes are alike. Come and observe snowflakes and make your own. Good cutting skills are required. Registration is required and begins Friday, January 6, 2012. Register by phone or in person.
